This program will explore diagnostic and management issues through challenging patient cases. CCRN’s Stump the Experts format will focus on challenging noted lipid experts with difficult lipid cases to highlight key changes in the lipid guidelines.

Program learning objectives:

  • Apply appropriate management strategies for secondary prevention in patients with multiple risk factors.
  • Identify cardiovascular risk reduction therapies and apply guideline-centric strategies to optimize lipid risk.
  • Identify and manage patients with statin intolerance.
  • Examine the role of Lp(a) as a cardiovascular risk marker and practice implications.
